A touch typing programme for primary pupils that we use in East Lothian is the BBC Dance Mat one.
We have not undertaken extensive research on other programmes. Our choice was motivated by the fact that Dance Mat is free and available.
Any touch typing programme needs consistent and regular practice and commitment. Doing it at home is the best option.

Does anyone know of a good touch typing course which does not cost the earth. I have a pupil who could happily work with a CD Rom so does not really need to go on an extremely expensive and lengthy course. Any suggestions gratefully received, please!
