I would like to know whether dyslexics can write. I have a student (first grader) who can write but can't read or recognize letters. Can a dyslexic recognize letters and words when writing without being able to recognize them when reading?

I think i have dyslexi I have a hard time reeding engls and spanish my spelling is very very bad is there help out there for me I am 67years old and retired living in puerto rico.
