hi im bev, i have a young son of five who throughout hes early years is struggling . my son at three weeks old had seizures and was rushed into hospital because he stopped breathing and had to be saved , my son still has these petit mal seizures ,, he has poor motor skills and has very poor speach delay which worries me so much as he finds it very frustrating when people cant understand him , it usually ends in floods of tears which is heartbreaking as a mother he fell over last summer and broke hes wrist and on a number of occassions triped over hes own feet and caused injury .. hes been in and out of hospital , hes under a occupational thearpy and speach thearypist and a paediatrics im getting very stressed and worried about my son as a diagnosis has not yet been confirmed hes a year behind at school with hes speach development and writing skills and reading skills ,, i was told by a consultant at the hospital this is what my son was showing signs of DYSPRAXIA why are occupational thearapy taking so long to solve it now they even closing hes case saying its not there department its speach and luangage ,, please some one give me some advice im going out of my mind for my son ,, hes such a sweet loving boy and i dont want him to grow up with people being crawl to him and bullying him . i have done research and looked at what other chrildrens symptoms and my son shares all the same day to day difficulties ..
