Hi Amanda, after reading your post, I would like to recommend books I have used with my children to help with their reading , spelling and writing. 'Toe by Toe' is written for dyslexics to improve reading and can be used by parents as it is very easy to follow, you can do it yourself at home. They also do a spelling book and comprehension book, these are also excellent. They have a website for ordersI think. Good luck!
