hi lottie
In answer to your question about support teachers unsing dyslexic exercises with dyspraxic people - it's probably 1)because quite a lot of dyspraxic people also have dyslexic tendencies 2)they've probably not been trained in techniques that would help dyspraxics. I was told a couple of years ago that knowledge of dyspraxia is about 10 to 15 years behind knowledge about dyslexia.
I'm dyspraxic and use a coloured overlay film to put on pages of books - it reduces the contrast between the print and white page and is less tiring. I think it also helps me to concentrate more easily. I also use a mindmap to help me structure and write essays.
