Hi guys, based on my WAIS results my psychologist referred me to another therapist to get tested for dyspraxia. The report indicated ADHD but not as a conclusive diagnosis. My psychologist is one of the best in her field where I am, very meticulous, and I trust her instincts- however, I lack what is by very definition the hallmark of dyspraxia- fine motor skill problems. I have numerous problems with executive function, but that doesn't really apply to motor problems. I am definitely clumsy, however I've always been good at drawing and have very good fine motor control when it comes to writing with a pen/pencil- I don't write with an awkward grip, don't put too much pressure on pen, can write sentences quickly. I did talk to my psychologist about it but she said my problems (mainly to do with executive function) are all connected and the specialist should be able to pick it out. Anyone have any thoughts?
