I have a dyspraxic 13 year old. He can't hand write. He is scatty- good at drama and a good bloke.
I am so proud of him as we have just found out he has been selected for the world scout Jamboree in Sweden in 2011. After the first selection day he said 'I don't think I'll get through as others were much better than me' but he got through to the weekend selection and has got through! I think he got through as he is just a good, confident boy.
He is sandwiched between 2 high achieving girls in our family- one who is listed as gifted and talented in everything- sport , music and all academics, and one expected to get all A*'s and A's in her GCSE's next term. But he got selected cos he's a good bloke! YAY
