Hi, We are having trouble with my partner's daughters school. They have done a LASS Secondary Screener which even though the z-score difference are as high as 1.72 the screener says it is ''not significant''. I have read the LASS Secondary Manual and by following it through it says she should be on School Action as her reading has a z-score difference of 0.77. A Chartered Educational Psychologists Report says she is a moderate dyslexic with loads of associated problems but the school will not accept it and say it is all down to poor attendance. I have contacted Lucid Research and they will only look at it if the school send in the Summary. The school have refused to do this so we have now made a request to the Education Dept. Is anyone, who uses the LASS Secondary, happy to have a look and just tell me if we are reading and applying the manual right.
