HI,
For a number of years now I have sometime had problems reading text. Both on web pages and in books. The problem presents as:
- some letters seem to disappear when I am reading
- imprints of words and letters seem to cover the page as I am reading. Like you get when you shine a light in your eyes, and then turn it off.
I can make the problem less by using a computer and reversing colours. So I am reading white text on a black page.
So my question is, is this dyslexia, or a sign of another problem?

I have been teaching dyslexic children for 6 years and have not seen a single dyslexic complain of this problem. I have however read and written an article on Irlen Syndrome that appears to describe such a condition.
You may see my article in my blog.
