Will is currently a history teacher in London. After graduating from Oxford University with a degree in History he set up a small tutoring company (Keystone Tutors London Tuition) in January 2007. It was through this work that he became interested in learning difficulties and saw the need for accessible information on dyslexia, dyspraxia and related conditions. He also saw the benefit that parents derive when they share information with each other. In January 2008 he approached his friend Josh Pull to help develop these thoughts.
When Will approached Josh to help set up dysTalk, Josh was working as an investment banker in London. He had been working there since graduating from Oxford University (like Will with a degree in History). From January through to the summer the dysTalk team met in the early morning (and evenings if Josh got out of the office) to develop the project. Through this, Josh furthered his passions for education and the potential role of the web within education. After two years of banking he decided to swap the world of mergers and acquisitions to focus all his energies on these areas.
